Christmas Bloodshed

This time of the year should be a time of celebration... A time where you are worried which invite you are going to fulfill and where you will be spending new year's eve. Instead, the day between Christmas and New Year's (a Jewish sabbath nevertheless) was used by the Israelis to start an all-out offensive against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Gaza is already was already in a disastrous situation before the Israeli terror campaign started against it. In a total area of 360sqkm (139sqm) 1.4 million Palestinians have been crowded in a cities and refugee camps, which have been turned into a prison by the Israelis. Their Israeli army controls everything and everyone that can enter or exit the Gaza Strip and have been forcing a state of hunger by banning food and fuel supplies to the Gazans.

So to make things worse, Israel decided to attack the Gaza Strip and has killed around 300 people on the first day of its offensive and now the death toll stands at around 315, with hundreds of Palestinians injured. The morgues are over their capacity and cannot provide room for the dozen of corpses that are littering the streets of Gaza killed by the Israeli rockets.

Israel's argument: self defense. As always, the Israelis sleaze their way into portraying themselves as the victims, claiming that Hamas's rockets are to blame for its offensive against Gaza. Fact: According to Robert Fisk a renowned journalist specializing in the Middle East, Hamas's rockets have killed 20 people in the past eight years. These are home made rockets that barely have any potential of causing any havoc. In contrast, the Israelis owning the fourth strongest army in the world, killed 300 people on their first day. SELF DEFENSE.

I was watching Wolf Blitzer on CNN yesterday and the news ticker at the bottom of the screen was that of CNN America, and not the CNN International that we get. GOD can the American media lie. Of course, it is portraying to the Americans and the Westerners in general that the Israelis are victims, and the Palestinians are the aggressors. Palestinian children who have been for months now been deprived of proper food and have gone cold in the absence of fuel supplies to warm them during the winter months are the terrorists. These same children that are growing deformed and in wrong proportions, not to mention the psychological impact that these constant bombardments have on them, are the treacherous beasts, while the Israeli army's air force bombarding places of worship, university buildings and prisons killing all those inside them are the victims; thus they must kill more to defend themselves.

What kind of retarded logic to the Israelis have? What exactly do they think they are achieving my launching these attacks on Gaza? Spreading more hate among both the Israelis and the Arabs? Will Israel win the hearts of 300 million Arabs, and one billion Muslims by showing them the level of barbarianism they have demonstrated over the past three days? Is this how Israel seeks security of its land and people? The Arabs have shown nothing but a yearning for peace and security, and all the Arabs, followed by all the Muslims (including Iran) have said that they would be willing to sign a peace treaty with the State of Israel, if Israel would just give back the Arabs what they rightfully own: returning occupied Arab lands, freeing Palestinian prisoners, and returning the Palestinian refugees to their rightful lands. But in retrospect, Israel has shown nothing but a thirst for blood. They follow a policy of kill-first-answer-questions-later. We have seen nothing from the Israelis but wars, killings of innocents, and demolitions causing a growing hatred among Arabs and Muslims against the Jewish Zionist State.

As Hassan Nassrallah, a person who I mostly disagree with said on several occasions, Israel is a state built around an army. Its people cannot live in peace, because if they do, they will kill each other. That is why, an enemy has to always exist, be it Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Arabs, Muslims or whomever. Israel's forces has no problem entering any state killing whomever it wants and then claiming self defense or even ignorance.

Israel is a terrorist state whose sole reason for existence is war and Arab and Muslim blood. Since the early migrations of the Jews at the turn of the twentieth century, they have done nothing but wreak havoc and terror, killing innocents, stealing lands, and causing destruction around it. I hope the world will someday be able to open its eyes and see the true face of Israel.
